6 Steps to Host a Successful & Stress-Free Black Friday Sale

Black Friday is in just a few days – are you planning to host a sale? I know this has been a weird year. It feels like I’m getting a “IT’S BLACK FRIDAY NOW” email every day from a different brand, sometimes multiple per day.

Here’s a great way to host a Black Friday sale exclusively on social media, especially if you have a product-based business or are in network marketing.

Step 1: Create a NEW Instagram page (set to personal) or a Facebook group. You don’t need to do both, choose whichever platform works best for you.

Step 2: Make sure the page or group is PRIVATE.

Step 3: Decide what you want your offers to be. For example, buy 2 products and get a $10 gift card. Each order enters for a grand prize giveaway. Buy 1 get 1 free or at a discount. Make sure whatever you decide is compliant with company policy!

Step 4: Use Canva to make social media graphics for each offer.

Step 5: Use an automation tool, such as Creator Studio (owned by Facebook), to schedule your posts on IG or schedule within the FB group so you don’t have to post them all yourself on Friday. No need for hashtags.

Step 6: Share to your public page, IG & FB stories, and send messages to your followers/friends/family/past customers letting them know about the sale. Simply invite them to join the group or follow the page.

The reason we keep the pages private is to get a higher quality prospect. You want to know who is looking at your stuff so you can follow-up with them later. If you have a public page, people can browse and you might have no idea they were there.

You also want to make sure those accessing the group or page are eligible to buy from you. For example, if you are in a network marketing company, anyone who buys from you should be in your downline or a customer looking for a distributor.

I hope you use this info to crush your next sale!! Let me know how it goes. I’d love to feature you on the blog!
